Thank you for your interest in joining The Nevada Optometric Association (NOA). The NOA is a state affiliate of the American Optometric Association (AOA), a professional organization of more than 30,000 optometrists nationwide. In Nevada, we have more than 200 optometrists who are members. We are very proud of our organization and welcome new members. Your membership in the NOA includes your membership in the AOA and your local optometric society.&
NOA offers continuing education options both online and in-person. We also offer other networking and fun social opportunities for members.
It is also important to note that we have an active Political Action Committee (PAC) working hard to preserve and increase the scope of work that optometrists enjoy here in Nevada.
We offer different membership levels, from new grads to part-time practitioners to retired Optometrists. Upon submission of your application, we can provide you with a list of volunteer opportunities.
Student members are welcome and encouraged to join the NOA. Membership is free! Student members can attend our CE events at no cost and receive e-newsletters and networking help.
